President Halimah noted that Singapore-China relations have grown in tandem with China's development. This year is also the 30th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Bilateral ties have strengthened significantly and broken new ground in diverse areas, she said. During the pandemic the peoples of the two countries have supported each other. President Halimah expressed confidence that the two countries will continue to work closely together for the mutual benefit of their peoples.
